A very happy Thanksgiving if you’re in the United States.
Wherever you are, I’d like to thank you for reading this article, and for whatever interaction we’ve had over the past year. Thanks for your attention, your comments, you participation, and your business.
It’s because of you and people like you that I get to make a living doing what I love – writing, marketing, and working with aviation people and projects.
Because of you, I get to work with smart people who think they can make their part of the world a better place with their product or service. I get to work with people who care about their customers and think positively enough to invest in their businesses – the ultimate act of optimism. Investing in your business shows that you have faith in yourself, in the economy you live in, and in the cooperation and sense of your fellow humans.
Work is love made visible. And if you cannot work with love but only with distaste, it is better that you should leave your work and sit at the gate of the temple and take alms of those who work with joy.
Kahlil Gibran
It’s possible that there are too many people sitting at the gate of the temple, but that’s another story. All I can say is that I’m very grateful for every person who is out there every day working to improve your product or service, working to serve your customers, and working to find more customers. If you’re that person, it’s you that keeps the whole world turning.
Thank you, and (again!) Happy Thanksgiving! A very happy holiday to you and your family.
