There are new developments in marketing every week. There are always new techniques and new ways of using technology to apply time-honored marketing and advertising techniques.
Given the huge volume of new information being produced, the challenge can be filtering out the best of this information and finding time to apply it.
Not much can be done about the amount of information. To stay current, there is no substitute for doing a lot of reading.
Personally, I read a book per week. You might think that my office would be full of books, but most of them find their way into the libraries of my clients as I identify strategies that could be of help to a particular company at a particular time.
The time and expense is well worth the result of using the best techniques. Sometimes small change in a campaign can make a huge difference in results!
